Code of Conduct

CODE OF CONDUCT FOR LEARNERS

Foreword:
Our Code of Conduct for learners aims to be corrective in nature. When interventions are considered, the following factors are prioritized: the learner's age, developmental level, and attitude toward the school. These interventions are carried out with the necessary empathy and sensitivity.

PURPOSE OF THE CODE OF CONDUCT
To create a disciplined school where discipline is prioritized; where learners are educated, developed, and grow into well-disciplined citizens.

This Code of Conduct is built on the CORE VALUES of:
Respect
✔ Love – Belonging
✔ Integrity
✔ Responsibility
✔ Kindness / Benevolence
✔ Teamwork

By living out these core values, discipline can be improved in the following areas:
▪ General behaviour: in classrooms, hallways, assembly lines, the auditorium, and on school transport
▪ Respect: self-respect and mutual respect (through forms of address and courtesy)
▪ Punctuality
▪ Sense of responsibility
▪ Personal and environmental cleanliness
▪ Cooperation and harmony

Improving discipline also aims to:
⮚ Promote school pride
⮚ Enhance the school’s image both internally and externally
⮚ Foster the school’s ethos
